Donate Your Waste

Waste is not unused but it is reused

It is a service oriented activity where students are involved in donating their unused items like clothes, toys, books,.... and DP students with teachers will go to an orphanage center and donate the items. It shows their social responsibility about service and especially caring the needy people and also become the role models for the coming generation.

In this activity they will do different activities like announcing the purpose of the project in the assembly, going each class room and giving awareness to children, performing skit to spread the goodness of doing service and going to orphanage center and spending with children and make them feel happy.

We went to Residential Bridge School - an orphanage cum school on 23.02.2012 and DP students interacted with them, conducted different activities to make them happy and donated all the collected items. Some of the memories are.....

World's AIDS day

We have celebrated World's AIDS day on December 1st 2011. DP students were come up with different creative part of their shows and presentations. They divided into three groups and each group made a documentary about AIDS - its awareness. One of the three was selected as best and that group was encouraged with prizes.

Later they showed and spoke about AIDS and their idea behind it and interacted with teachers. It was a nice CAS activity where Social responsibility, adult education and creative part all came at one place.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS DAY

We celebrated International Students Day on 17th november 2011 at DRSIS. A human chain was formed by 120 students to represent the unity and strength of students globally. Then students were divided into 5 groups according to themes. They showed excellent performance and mesmerized all. Some of the memories are....

Activities under Academic Club

Activity #1 Quiz competition on 22.10.2011 at 2:15 pm in DRS international school
It is my great pleasure to write about the quiz competition which was conducted under Academic Club by us. In this Competition we asked several questions based on simple maths to students divided into two groups.It was nice experience by both of us, because we got the opportunity to exhibit organising skills and working as team.
