WELCOME to Academic club!!
I am very happy to launch the Academic Club in our school. The motto for which will be: FOR THE STUDENTS; BY THE STUDENTS; TO THE STUDENTS.
This will be run by the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme students who will organize different activities under one roof. It came into being on 20th October, 2011.
The aim of the Club is to conduct activities like: Quiz competitions, Debates, Group Discussions, and give Science Demonstrations. Besides they will also organize Field Trips, Guest Lectures related to academics. This will not only develop their leadership, organizing and time management skills but also develop their thinking and inquiring minds to strengthen their knowledge in various disciplines. It will also give them an opportunity to identify and develop their individual skills.
The portfolios of the Members will change every academic year.
I therefore request all Teachers to encourage and help them in giving your suggestions.
